Plain-English summary: We collect only what's needed to book you a haircut — your phone number, name, and appointment details. We don't sell your data. We don't spam you. Barbers only see customers who've booked with them.

IWhat we collect

When you book an appointment through Zaffé, we collect:

  • Your phone number (required to confirm bookings)
  • Your first name (so your barber knows who's next)
  • Your appointment details: shop, barber, service, time
  • Payment information if you pay online (handled by Stripe, never stored by us)

We don't ask for email, address, date of birth, or social media accounts.

IIHow we use your information

Your information powers three things:

Booking & reminders

We send you confirmation and reminder messages via WhatsApp or SMS. That's it.

The barber's dashboard

Your appointment appears on your barber's schedule with your name and phone number so they can reach you if something changes.

Service improvement

Anonymous, aggregated data helps us improve the product — for example, knowing that most bookings happen on Friday afternoons.

IIIWho sees your information

  • The barber shop you booked with (name, phone, appointment details)
  • Our payment processor, Stripe, if you pay online
  • Our messaging provider (WhatsApp Business API) to deliver confirmations

Other barber shops on the platform cannot see your information. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data with advertisers or third parties.

IVHow long we keep it

Appointment records are kept for 24 months for your convenience — so "book again" works next time. After that, they're automatically deleted.

You can request immediate deletion at any time by contacting us.

VYour rights

You can, at any time:

  • Request a copy of everything we store about you
  • Ask us to correct any incorrect information
  • Delete your data entirely
  • Opt out of reminder messages

Just send us a message from the phone number associated with your bookings.

If we make material changes, we'll notify you by SMS before they take effect.
